Spring Liver Detox Bowl

Liver detox bowl
One of the bright sides of the world unravelling has been that I’ve had more time at home to prepare meals for myself where I can spend extra time on the presentation – as I’ll be eating it at home, too! I often pack / carry both lunches & dinners with me on my work days. So this has brought some joy. ⁣
⠀⠀⁣
Having said this, I want to also recognize there are many people who are unable to provide afford food for themselves/their family at this time, and encourage if you have a few bucks to support one of our location food banks (I recently made a donation to @feedontario but there are others like The Stop or Daily Bread).⁣
⠀⠀⁣
Here’s a plant-based bowl I made recently:⁣
⠀⠀⁣
? rice⁣
? roasted broccoli in sesame oil & lemon⁣
? roasted sweet potatoes⁣
? org spinach⁣
? parsley⁣
? dulse⁣
? pumpkin seeds⁣
? black sesame seeds⁣
? smoky tahini dressing sauce of awesomeness** ⬇️⁣
⠀⠀⁣
**@braggs Apple cider vinegar, @maisond’orphee dijon mustard, @parallel_brothers smoky sesame butter, nutritional yeast, black pepper, splash of lime⁣
⠀⠀⁣
CHINESE MEDICINE NUTRITION: supports the Spleen Qi, Liver system, Kidneys. The cruciferous veg supports the immune system, and the seaweed & parsley detoxifies. ⁣
