We’re in the thick of summer now. The heat is ????. In Chinese Medicine, it’s the yang within yang season, bringing us abundance of daylight, energy, activity. Some people love it – but if you’ve got too much constitutional heat, it can be a tough season. ⁣

In TCM it’s the season of ?. At the same time, astrologically we’ve got Mars in Aries – which is also pure ???.⁣

Fire can be a wonderful, ?????????????? ?????. It can also destruct. Use your fire wisely. Keep it in balance as best you can. ⁣

TCM Summer 2020 tips:⁣

☀️ Drink: cucumber water⁣
☀️ Eat: Watermelon slices⁣
☀️ Avoid: greasy foods, excess hot spices, refined sugar ⁣
☀️ Enjoy tea: Peppermint, Green tea or Matcha⁣
☀️ Find: Nature, shade, trees, flowers⁣
☀️ Play: Activities that spark joy ⁣
☀️ Wear: A mask! They’re uncomfortable & hot – I get it! But we don’t want to be back on lockdown during the heat of summer. Work: together on this, so we can enjoy being outside and participating in (some) of the activities that we have long awaited for ✌️?? ? ⁣
